Ford F-150 Lightning

The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning all-electric pickup trucks have a range of up to 300 miles. Lariat and XLT variants have a maximum range of up to 320 mi (EPA-est.), while the Platinum model, which is top-spec, can travel up to 300 miles (EPA–est. All this is possible with a 131-kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

2023 F-150 Lightning’s 300- and 325-mile versions of the F-150 Lightning are powered by a dual-motor motor powertrain. It generates 580 HP and 775 lb.-ft. respectively. In 4.5 seconds, you can sprint from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. Ford claims that AC charging takes 19.2 kW and AC charging takes 8 hours at 15-100%. An Inside EVs report states that 155 kW is the maximum DC charge input. Ford claims that DC fast-charging at 150 kW takes just 41 minutes and can charge from 15 to 80% SoC.

The 2023 F-150 Lightning 131 kWh is priced at USD 80,974 for the XLT trim and USD 85,974 for the Lariat trim. It costs USD 96,874 for the Platinum trim. These prices do not include the USD 1,895 standard destination fees.

Kia EV6

E-GMP is also used in the 2023 Kia EV6. The range of the 2023 EV6 Wind (RWD), and GT-Line variants (RWD), is up to 310 miles (EPA Est. The MSRP of the EV6 Wind (RWD) and GT-Line (RWD) variants is USD 48,700, and USD 52,900, in America. Standard is a 77.4-kWh battery that can be charged using an 800-volt charger. The onboard charger has a capacity of 10.9 kW.

It takes seven hours and ten minutes to charge the EV6 at 100% using an 11 kW AC charger. It takes only 18 minutes to charge the EV6 from 10 to 80% using a 350 kW DC charger. Each variant of the Wind RWD or GT-Line RWD has a single-motor powertrain producing 225 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. respectively.

Rivian R1T

The Rivian R1T pickup was developed in-house and is available to American buyers in the Adventure trim. It has an MSRP starting at USD 73,000. There are four options available: Dual-Motor AWD + Standard Pack (USD 73,000), Double-Motor AWD + Large Pack (79,000), Dual Motor AWD + Max Pack (89,000), Quad-Motor AWD + Large Pack (87,000). 

Rivian-est is the most basic configuration. The range is only 260+ miles. The EPA-est. range of the Dual-Motor AWD+ Large Pack configuration is 260+ miles. Rivian-est. isn’t yet available. Rivian estimates that the range of the Dual-Motor-AWD + Max Pack configuration will be 400 miles.

Rivian Adventure Network is a charging network similar to Tesla. As part of this network, the company will install 3,500+ DC fast charging stations with an output of 200kW at first and 300+kW at 600 locations in the U.S. and Canada. The R1T can be charged at these chargers for up to 20 minutes, which will give it a range that extends to 140 miles.

Rivian Waypoints is another Rivian charging network currently in use in Canada and the U.S. The network includes Level 2 (AC-) chargers. When the company finishes building it, there will be more than 10,000 of these chargers. Rivian Wall Chargers 11.5 kW Level 2 (AC), can provide up to 25 miles per hour.

Blazer EV supports charging at 11.5 kW AC/190 kW DC. A DC fast-charger will allow you to charge in just 10 minutes and add approximately 78 miles to your range in less than 10 minutes. GM has not released the Blazer EV RS’s performance numbers, but the Blazer EV RS’ dual motors produce 557 hp as well as 648 lb. ft. of torque.

The Blazer EV SS can reach 0-60 mph in just 4 seconds with Wide Open Watts (WOW), (GM-est.). The 2LT and RS trims will be available in the U.S. in the Summer of 2023.
